Future-proofing business by building crisis capacity
The Leeds Business School Retail Institute asked me to speak at their annual members briefing, along side other colleagues from Leeds Beckett as well as representatives from Tetra Pak, Ecosurety, BASF Nutrition, the Scottish Environmental Protection Agency, Coca Cola, Ikea, the British Plastics Federation, World Wide Generation, and the University of Applied Sciences in Vienna about the future of retail.
The 2020 Covid pandemic has accelerated some of the ongoing changes in the retail industry and consumer expectations and habits. Therefore, my presentation focused on how lessons from issues and crisis management can support innovation and reputation management in the retail industry.
All of the presentations from the Friday of the Retail Institute Annual Briefing are available in this link. Presentations from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are also available.
