Teaching & Pedagogy
My approach to teaching — whether online or face-to-face is to try to develop a theory-based but applied learning experience.
I’ve taught a variety of communication-related classes in the US, UK, Netherlands, and Norway both online and in the traditional classroom. If you’re interested in materials related to any of them let me know.
One of the challenges we face is creating authentic experiences for students and I am in the development process for simulation-based learning experiences as a tool for building efficacy and vicarious experience in the classroom — but there will be much more on that coming.
